Paper accepted at the Communications of the AIS that builds on a panel about ethics in design science research. The paper reviews the long history of ethics in philosophy, connects it to personal viewpoints of the panelists, and suggests a research agenda for acknowledging and incorporating ethics in the conduct of design science research efforts.
